More than 2,000 sketches and texts of artist Chen Danqing recording the artist's life experience spanning more than half a century since he was a teenager. These experiences are regarded as clues to divide the whole book into six volumes, and the binding and paper corresponding to the era are used to differentiate. These sketches not only belong to himself but also inevitably carry the imprint of the significant changes of the times, which are related to the memory of Chinese intellectuals. Sketches and texts are combined through design to construct a new memory of the era.
