The book makes a discussion about Kunqu opera. We re-edited text when we designed this book. As an intangible cultural heritage, we believe Kunqu opera should not only be treated as a part of traditional cultural, but also a new contemporary spirit in nowadays.
The whole book revolves around a Kunqu opera artist and an obsessed autistic audience. There are totally 11 plays. Each play is a unit, like a scenario. From the beginning of traditional elements, through stories of the artist and the autistic audience, a new contemporary Kunqu opera will be showed audience of this book.
In design language, we tried to use paper and binding way without any oriental characteristics. Culture without borders, oriental temperament is showed from internal.
这是一本讨论昆曲的书，我们在设计时对文本进行思考和重新编辑。昆曲作为非物质遗产不应该只围绕传统，还要看到它在当下的新环境中生发出的时代样貌。
整书围绕一位昆曲表演艺术家和一位痴迷昆曲的自闭症观众展开，每壹出戏为一个单元，像一部部剧本，从传统说起，通过两位主人公的经历，让读者看到昆曲在当代语境下的状态。
在设计语言上，我们试图用没有任何东方特色的纸张和装订方式去呈现壹个东方文本。文化是没有国界的，东方的气质是内在散发出来的。
